What is the point of members needing to post/interact with their web stuff to get credits to download scans/wallpapers? I'm not trying to bash it, since it obviously helps the owners in some way, i'd just like to know what that method has to offer to you guys.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I think posting this here is better than all the other places i found for "less serious topics."

Anyways, for those people that are absolutely AWESOME at making backgrounds for wallpapers, my question to you is, how do you get/make them? I'm talking about those 3d/cg designs and NOT real life pictures etc(I don't think there are any real life pictures anyway). These 3d/cg designs are the part of the wallpaper that goes behind a main character usually. I see so many beautiful pieces of artwork with nice backgrounds, so i'm just wondering if anyone can tell me how you do it. I'm not asking for a step by step process, im kind of looking for the answer along, "I use high tech software," or, "I'm just really good with photoshop," or, "I find these backgrounds off other images," etc. I'd just like to know where you get those nice wallpaper backgrounds that are computer done.

I have been searching google and stuff for a summary of this anime because quite frankly i never understood the last 4 episodes. Is there anyone here that might know of some site for me to read so that i can get whats going on? I finished it all dazed out. Or if anyone else knows heres a few questions:

1. When bokka went back to earth leaving all his friends in that ship, what happened to them(toune and koko)?

2. What is this big maze hes in when he reaches earth? After watching it, i get the impression that hes under the earths surface and that there is another world. Mainly dazzled about the part where he reaches the dessert and goes into some human/cow land and then fighting "solo", but then he emerges out of the water? wtf...

1. No, because they usually expect it from you.
2. Kind acts. Saying it isn't usually the best way. More action and less talk, will usually get it to the persons head.
3. Invite them to special events. Out of the ordinary... well it depends on how much "out of the ordinary" you want it. :P

I don't know if this happens to everyone, but i certainly get it. I have a medium DSL connection and whenever i browse MT it takes 3-5 seconds to load each page. Is it my connection or is it server side? Just wondering if anyone else has somewhat a slow load time as well.

I'd never buy a console, PC is the universal way and much funner and better. (you can even hack). If anything, its always sony. microsft & ninendo = shit.

Gmail is the one i use right now primarlily on the fact that it is spamless. I use yahoo and hotmail and after a few weeks, i get all these ads. Gmail however, its only communication between the people i actually know. So gmail doesnt give out addresses for money like yahoo and hotmail. Paid mail... that is last resort because.... well.... you have to pay for it

Anime expos? Convention centers? I know there are a few big events that take place in certain areas. You just have to search online. I know theres at least one anime expo that has exhibits on new animes, etc.

That is very odd, but of course it shows some emotion. Don't let her stick to you too long, because when you try to separate it get very bad for her (usually causing some sort of mental collapse). Try talk to her more and tell her how you feel about her actions and how it makes you feel uneasy. I've never been in this situation before. Interesting to see what others come up with.

If you word it correctly when talking around friends/family, it won't be a problem talking about it. In fact, just because of me, I was able to get many into anime. My reason was simply because it is different than what you are normally doing, and it doesn't hurt to give it a shot. Talk about it, you will find people who will talk to you about it as well. You will also find out who doesn't have an interest in anime, but I really don't know what you worry about. I mean people talk about stuff everyday... why can't you?
